Here ends the search for an authentic Christmas Market
With over 20 stalls there'll be a whole host of exciting and beautiful gifts and treats for you

This time of year sees every pocket of London become increasingly infestivised with Christmas markets. From Barnes to Bexleyheath you can’t move for pre-fabricated rows of ‘traditional’ German chalets selling all things from sticky gluhwein to handmade soap. Not to say we’re Christmas Market misers, but similar to the vats of hot wine, they’ve been slightly diluted over the years and now it’s a case of finding those that still offer something potently unique.
And, as luck would have it, we have one such market coming to Brixton town in only a matter of weeks, thanks to Make Do and Mend’s very first Vintage and Makers Christmas Fair at Pop Brixton on Saturday 5th Dec.
With over 20 stalls there’ll be a whole host of exciting and beautiful gifts and treats for you to buy, including a handpicked selection of Vintage clothing, accessories and jewellery from the 1950s – 1990s. Alongside this will be 20th Century furniture and homewares as well as vinyl and collectables.
A selection of local makers will also be providing an array of beautiful handcrafted gifts from Print and Art, Handmade Crafts, Jewellery, Clothing and Accessories.
And, for a good measure of festive cheer there’ll be a live DJ and fully stocked bar to rock around, alternatively drop into our shop in Brixton Village after you’re done. We’d love to see you!
