A “giant Pacific garbage patch” contains 1.8 trillion pieces of rubbish, virtually all of it plastic, and it stretches over 600,000 square miles of ocean
With Britons using an average of around 140kg of plastic annually, we’re taking action against plastic pollution by joining our pals, Gung-Ho Design, for a volunteer-led beach clean up on Sunday 19th August.
But we can’t do it alone so come join us, from 1.30 – 3.30pm on the beach by the National Theatre (Waterloo), followed by a picnic social!
The council will be providing equipment, tide times have been checked and litter pickers sorted. Now we just need you.
Drop us an email (info@thekeepboutique) if you’re keen to come along.Index
